Part II This Part ("pages" 4, 5, 6 & 7) follows the 18 year old Hitler through his days in Vienna, Austria and then, a month after his 24th birthday, on to Munich, Germany where he continued as a fairly successful artist. The narrative traces, without the normal after-the-fact intuitiveness, his development as a young man and his state of mind when, at age twenty-five, he joined the German Army during the first days of W.W.I. This Part (pages 4-7), with all supplementary links, is equivalent to
about 105 book pages. Access to footnotes (designated by an *) can be found at the top and
bottom of each page.
